Graduated from Universidad Diego Portales (Santiago, Chile) where he obtained his degree in Business Administration and his title of Business Engineer, he has a large experience in audits of financial and accounting processes related to the preparation, recording and reporting of financial information under IFRS and USGAAP reports
He developed his career for 16 years in Ernst & Young as an Assurance Partner, serving big companies in regulated industries both in Chile and abroad, mainly in the industries of Mining and Metals, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Services. He has experience in Capital Markets including “cross-border transactions”, as well as business combinations. He was part of the quality assurance group for South America of EY performing reviews on the practices of Argentina, Ecuador and Chile.
Luis is bilingual and participated in the Professional Exchange Program of EY in Ohio, United States, where he worked improving EY Audit and Learning tools.
